I will never forget the amazing people and culture I experienced in Uzbekistan. A country not visited by many people from the UK! People have inhabited the region around Bukhara for at least five millennia, and the city has existed for half that time. Located on the Silk Road, the city has long served as a centre of trade, scholarship, culture, and religion- this can be seen in the amazing architecture! Combine that with soviet architecture and you have yourself an incredibly diverse country
