#199 Could you help me correct this text? 【Linguistic Culture Shock vol.3】 Several years ago, I took Arabic calligraphy lessons as a hobby because l was fascinated by the beauty of Arabic characters. To my surprise thing was that Arabic is written from right to left. It’s the opposite way in Japanese. However, strangely only numbers are written from left to right. Every time l took lessons, I felt like to be a left handed person.

To my surprise, Arabic is (actually) written from right to left. It’s the opposite way in Japanese. However, strangely (enough), only numbers are written from left to right. Every time l took lessons, I felt like I was a left-handed person.
I've put some optional terms in parentheses. Well written.
