ผู้สอนมืออาชีพ💼 Employer vs Employee — What’s the Difference?
Many students mix up the words employer and employee.
But the difference is simple 🙂
Let’s make it clear 👇
👉 Employer = the person who gives a job
👉 Employee = the person who has the job
📌 Easy trick to remember:
Employ = to give someone a job.
• EmployER → the person who GIVES the job
• EmployEE → the person who GETS the job
Think like this:
TeachER → teaches
EmployER → employs
The ending -er = the person who DOES the action.
The ending -ee = the person who RECEIVES the action.
Examples:
✔ The employer gives her a job.
✔ The employee works in the company.
✔ The employee asks for a day off.
More examples:
trainER / trainEE
interviewER / interviewEE
Now it’s easy, right? 😊
Tell me in the comments:
Are you an employee or an employer?
