When you get your eyes checked at the doctor if you don’t have a vision problem then you have 20/20 (perfect) vision. Hindsight is 20/20 means that it’s easier to predict something after it has already happened. I.e. knowing the outcome you can see more clearly why the outcome happened. You see a situation more clearly in hindsight than when you were in the middle of it.
