This plan makes more sense, then we will not have a lot of work left on the last day. This is a better plan because we won't have a lot of work left on the last day.

ARRANGE is a verb. So, it can't be reasonable. If you want a noun you need ARRANGEMENT. This arrangement is more reasonable, then we won't (leave everything/let everything pile up) to the last day.
