GlassunHat
Invitation to Japanese Visual Novel Reading Group (Twitch channel launches in a few days!)

Dear Japanese language learners,

I'm GlassunHat. I have my live-streaming channel on Twitch (www.twitch.tv/glassunhat) to broadcast non-adult visual novels and other games. This is an invitation to my channel (with access to live text chat) for guided extensive reading community. I will start my broadcast in a few days.

For Japanese Language Learners:
I play non-translated visual novel and do “intensive reading” (精読) to save you the trouble of looking up a dictionary. Just listen to my reading or VA’s voice like an audio book while scanning the text as your very quick “extensive reading” (多読). I will give you some insights as a Japanese native speaker to make it interesting for you.

Also, I stream other types of games in Japanese (likely to be some retro games). That is when you can train your listening skills with my curse in broken Osaka dialect.

**For your best learning results, create a free Twitch account, sign in, and engage in chat to talk to me and other viewers!

For My Own Language Learning:
I play some RPGs or something else in French (or Thai, but it’s hard to find localized dialogue-driven games), and make a fool of myself. I am not here to teach anyone these languages. I am only trying to teach myself and may sometimes ask for the viewers’ help.

If you are interested, follow me on Twitch, Twitter, and Facebook. In future, I may set up Discord server for the communication of this community.

Also, be sure to let me know your preferred schedules. I listed streaming schedules on my channels but they are just my preference. I will TRY to set up schedules that work for as many interested people as possible (I can't promise, though).

I will start streaming in a few days. If I don't hear from anyone about the preferred schedules, I will just start streaming at random hours and days to test and check which time slots attract more viewers, and decide the schedules by myself.

However, please, note that during such a trial period, I cannot tell you what I will be streaming. I may be streaming a visual novel (and explaining stuff even when nobody is there), or I may just be playing something totally different.

Warmly,

GlassunHat

P.S. For those who I contacted earlier. I apologize for the delayed channel launch. I'm having a tech issue with Twitch's support team. I have been trying to get an official approval to stream "Dies Irae -Amantes Amentes-" but I cannot even get simple yes/no answer from them. If there is no progress in a few days, I will change my plan and just start streaming with some other visual novel.

I'm extending the trial run until 3/24 because I haven't been able to stream often enough.

To those who may have missed the special 8.5-hour stream of Dies Irae prologue due to timezone difference, the recorded video on demand can be found in my channel now!

Enjoy!

P.S. I did it for 8.5 hours only because I did not want to stop the stream in the middle of the prologue. This is an exception. From here on, my stream for the next 2 weeks will be only 2 hours at a time.

Damn, I see a lot of typos. Sorry, please, don't mind them!
