'Take attendance in XXX' or 'Taking attendance in XXX'

I want to write an email.

As title it should be 'Take attendance in XXX' or 'Taking attendance in XXX'

（XXX is an internet system）

I would use "Attending XXX", meaning "Taking Part In XXX", since to attend already means to take part in.
