I like when teachers are cheerful, friendly, easy going, a good laugh, creative and flexible to attract my attention throughout the lesson because I migh getting restless or scatterbrained quickly. Also I like if they care about my progress, because it does matter in my long-term learning journey.

I do not like when teachers are too formal, big-headed, cold, bossy or authoritative because I am too old to feel like a small pupil at school. Also I do not like when teachers make me do during classes what I can do on my own quite easily between classes. 

Teacher, please don't fill in words for me when there is a pause in my conversation and you know what I'm about to say (or you have guessed the word I'm searching for).

Beginners in particular need teachers to be patient and endure long pauses while the student tries to remember the word they want to say.

It is not helpful if the teacher does the work for them and always prompts them and impatiently tells them what the required word is (unless, of course, the student gives up, and asks the teacher to tell them the required word).

If you tell me the word without me asking you to do so, it interrupts the mental process of my memory recall, and I find it very distracting and upsetting.

It is much more satisfying if you simply stay quiet for a while and let me remember the word all on my own.

1. I don't like slow speaking.

2. I like my teacher point out my weakness in English learning.

3. I don't focus on what my teacher can teach me, but what I can learn from her or him. 

4. I don't like my teacher follows some textbooks strictly.

As a language learner, I think I can learn from any native speaker.
