Recommendations ? Does anyone have any Chinese drama / show or even song recommendations ?

This drama is for learners, but they speak FAST and in a natural way: 快乐汉语。It has hardcoded Chinese and English subs.

You can find dramas with Chinese subtitles on Huace's global fun YouTube channel. In Netflix, you can also find "A love so beautiful". It's also on YouTube if you search for the Chinese name, 致我们单纯的小美好.

However, the one drama that seems to be amazingly popular is "Ode to Joy" or 欢乐颂. You can find it here. It has hardcoded Chinese subs and soft English subs:

Ode to Joy is really good! You can watch it on Viki, and I think Youtube has most of the episodes as well.

If you are not in intermediate level, those dramas or shows are not useful for you. Because you won't understand what any of it says in those shows. Listening to music might be a good start. But don't listen to a male singer named Jay chou, His songs are for natives. You could search for songs on YouTube. There are plenty of songs on YouTube and just pick the one you think you would like. :)

Hmm, there's many Chinese shows on basic services like Netflix, and also some dramas on anime apps such as Crunchyroll. I don't have many I can recommend, as I mainly watch/listen to things from Japan and Korea.. BUT a chinese-based anime I watched once, called Bloodivores, had a theme song sung by Chinese-based singer, Mili. She has multiple albums on Spotify and YouTube, with songs both in Chinese and Jap. I personally like the album Miracle Milk, which had the song, "-NENTEN-". It's pretty good, despite the name haha. I think it may be Mandarin, though I'm not positive.
