I met some "good strangers" in my life, although I am not someone who easily trust people. I am a friendly person but I am also someone who put my guards up, as a female solo traveler and athlete that is a must to survive.

I try my best to use my instinct on who seems to be trustworthy in my eyes. Although of course, I make mistakes and learn from them.

Nowadays, anyone can be an easy target of the "prying eyes" which is why I am more vigilant. I received a message in one of my social media accounts and the person wanted to meet up because she said she was writing a book about a place I am interested to see next year.

I like meeting new people when I travel but not before that. Although I try my best to be as polite and friendly, at the back of my mind, why would a complete stranger randomly check my Facebook account out of a group with thousands of members? It's like saying, "Hey girl, you are the chosen one". It can be a good thing and a bad thing, she is like the female version of the man who was stalking me in an airport. I do not believe everything that I see and hear because I had my fair share of mishaps with strangers.
