What are your favorite underrated movies?
Mine is Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. So basically, it's about a couple undergoes a medical procedure to have each other erased from their memories. It's a mix of romance, sci-fi, and comedy.

What are your favorite underrated movies? And what are they about?

Mine is The Orphan (2009). It's a thriller movie- it's a story about a family who had a miscarriage so they decided to adopt a girl from an orphanage, only to find out later on that the girl they adopted was not a kid but an adult who had a rare case of dwarfism and she was a serial killer from Estonia who escaped a mental hospital

Nobody Knows - A Japanese movie that was based on a real incident. A young mother abandons her 4 children in their apartment. At first it's just for a few days, and then a month, and then for good. The eldest son tries to act as the parent but he's just a boy and doesn't have the skill (or the money). Their situation gets more and more desperate as the movie progresses towards tragedy.

Dangal - An Indian movie that's also based on a real story. It's about a man who always wanted to compete in the Olympics as a wrestler. His dream was to win gold for his country but he was too poor and too remote and he was never given the chance. Unwilling to let go of his dream, even in middle age, he begins to train his two daughters. Eventually they reach a level where they beat all the local boys, and then the regional boys, and then they reach the national and international level of competition. The drama is in the fact that as they advance they are pulled further and further away from their father.

The Dresser - This English film is a real beauty in my opinion. I'm talking about the 1983 version with Albert Finney and not the newer one with Anthony Hopkins. It's set in WW2 England and tells the story of an old curmudgeonly man who leads a ragtag acting troupe and his loyal "Dresser" (the man who makes sure "Sir" is onstage and properly costumed during the performance). Most of the film takes place in the man's dressing room. It's hard to explain this movie, it's about the co-dependence between these two men.

Goodbye Solo - This is a very touching American film that begins when a young immigrant cab driver (Solo) picks up a guy who tries to arrange another cab ride in a couple of weeks time. He'll give Solo $1000 if he'll drive him to a remote and beautiful mountain on a particular date. Solo agrees, but eventually finds out that this place is known for suicides. Solo begins to pry his way into this man's life to find out why.

So many more, but I've run out of space!
