Merry Christmas Richard and everybody.
The traditional British or English christmas meal is "roast beef" or "roast pork" dating back from before the word for a bird from india was mistakenly used. Turkey at christmas in the UK is a recent importation starting from America.
Three christmases ago when I prepared the christmas meal, everyone was told it would be traditional roast beef and pork and lamb for everybody to choose or mix as they pleased and a small pullet mostly for sandwiches for after the meal and the next day.
Yes booth my brother and I can cook, our Mother said you may be boys but you never know what may happen in life and one day you may have to do this. So we cooked from the age of 3 at her insistence.
