I love Harry Potter. Every year I enjoy rewatching some movies with my friends. Moreover Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone was the first book that I read in English.

I might get stoned for saying this but I don't get the whole fuss about Harry Potter. I've tried watching the movie and reading the book several times, but to no avail. From my perspective, there's nothing special. But of course I don't want to hurt Harry Potter fans, it's just my subjunctive opinion

I haven't read harry potter, so I prefer to read and study

I am not the biggest fan of Harry but I liked the first film and I think the story has some magical moments.

I also read the first book and I liked too. Maybe I would have enjoyed this reading more if I hadn't seen the film before because I had in mind the images of the film and that limited my fantasy somehow.

That's why I usually prefer reading the book before watching the movie. Of course, after reading the book I am eager to know how the main characters will be on the film and if my imagination fits with what I see.
