Hi! I am learning て、ので　and からin my japanese lesson. and I encountered this sentence：

友達がいなくて寂しいので、よく国の友達に電話をかける

as i am thinking, this is kind of subjective reasoning, why ので is used instead of から？

i though it would be 友達がいなくて寂しいから、よく国の友達に電話をかける

ほとんどわからないので、教えていただけませんか。

理由 + ので＝から

ので…丁寧、ビジネス、女性っぽい

Ｑ: どうして昨日パーティーに来なかったんですか？

Ａ1️⃣用事があって…
vs
Ａ2️⃣用事があったから。
vs
Ａ3️⃣用事があったので。

意味は同じです。
Chouさんは女性なので、3️⃣で話すと丁寧で女性らしいです。男性が3️⃣を使うとビジネスマンらしいです。

2️⃣は、理由を言う普通の言い方です。
1️⃣も理由を言う時に使いますが「…」の部分を省略しています。だから少し曖昧に聞こえます。

Actually, both sentences sound correct to me. I think you can replace ので by から most of the times. I think から is preferably used in casual situation than ので.
