hello dora! 
whta i did was to write down korean words... i started with names so the hangul characters are easier... and then copied the romanized translates... 
i was able to familiarize myself with the alphabet and also practice writing the script... (wrong strokes though) 
the problem is, with this method i don't learn new words... so you probably just have to buy a korean-english dictionary... 
a really good one that shows the words in hangul, romanized version and its translation in english... 
there are sites that teach you proper pronunciation too...
next step would then be to find a really helpful korean to correct your pronunciation and to help you with other things you might've missed... :D 

I just know few words and phrases in Korean.
 
Chingu = friend
Jal ga - bye
Chal ji-nae sho sso yo = how r u?
Nae chingu = my friend
No mo pogo shi po yo = I missed you so much.
Annyong = Hi!
and so..on.

anyung hase yo     how are you every body,???????????????? i just tart learning korean becauase when i watched my lovely kim sam soon i just fall in love with hanguk and of course the language hangul ..........................you may not belive ho mutch i love korea (hanguk sarangae) so please accepte me as your friend talk to you soon gomsumida
