When I should use particles "zum" or "zu" in german for writing a verb in infinitive?
Could you give an example?

zu:
Ich versuche immer, ein paar Beispiele zu geben.
Ich fahre nach Berlin, um mein Deutsch zu verbessern.
Er wartete das ganze Leben darauf, seine Liebe zu treffen.
"Zum" tritt (wenn ich mich nicht irre) nur mit substantivierten Verben auf ---> "zum" = "zu" + "dem". Der Artikel muss neben dem Substantiv stehen, zum Beispiel:
Es gibt nichts zum Lachen.
Hast du etwas zum Essen gemacht?
Und auch mit anderen Substantiven:
Er macht das zum Vergnügen.
Zum Beispiel :-)
