"that" or "this"
Hello everyone!
I was wondering... when we can say "that" or "this" and what is the difference please ^^ ?

you use this when someone or something is near to you and the plural is these
you use that when someone or something is far away from you,and the plural is those.
eg:This is a robot.
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;These are robots.
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; That is my jacket.
&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Those are their bags.

It works for space and for time as well:&nbsp; this (near) / that (somehow far)

I may be wrong but it is interestion to me to think over your question.
1) The word this plural these is&nbsp;used to refer to a person, thing, idea etc. that has just been mentioned or to something that has just happened:&nbsp;We must make sure this doesn't happen again.
2) The word that plural those is&nbsp;used to refer to a person, thing, idea etc. that has already been mentioned or is already known about: There are lots of thinks that I need to learn before the trip to Moscow.
