How can a self-taught student to learn German?

Due to health problems, I can´t go out home to take German classes and I can´t afford paying a teacher, because German is not popular here, so it is very expensive. An Italki member suggested me to ask it. Any thoughts?

You seem to be doing well. All I can say is find a method that suits you and just be patient because learning a language takes time and a lot of patience. I enjoy writting down articles by hand and then analize them from spiegel magazine or others with subjects that I find interesting
