I am afraid I cannot agree with you to some extent. To watch movie or film is a good manner to enhance your listening and speaking, but considering grammar, that goes too far to adopt this strategy. Making up more sentences is a good manner to master grammar as long as you check your sentences more often and discuss with your teachers.
