From my interpretation, it sounds like: You'll be wasting your life doing nothing. You won't be fulfilling your dreams to become.... You'll be a "loser". If it's directly related to baseball, "carving air" could refer to swinging and not hitting the ball...i.e. not connecting with the ball and just "carving the air" with the bat. Not sure on the full context, though.
