I'm doing twice a week for 30 minutes for Portuguese and that is really helping with my conversation skills. My two sessions are with different tutors so that I am exposed to different accent and style. Outside of italki I do my own learning using other resources (rossetta, duolingo). I can learn a lot of vocabulary on my own, but the challenge is finding opportunities to speak. The tutors i've met with are very skill at helping people practice their conversation skills.

As often as you want, usually. It's all an individual arrangement between student and teacher. The system shows you all of the teacher's available open times and you pick the one you want.

You can pick your own schedule. Obviously, the more often you take classes the more it well help you to progress rapidly. I would say the most common frequency is one class per week, but there are some students who take more than one per week and others who take classes less frequently.

I'd love.to Do them everyday, but I work generally 80 hours a week, I have been doing one lesson each week in each language. so half hour in Spanish, and a half hour in Italian. But at the end of the month I do two bonus lessons for the week one hour w different instructor. But of course I am kind of curious if students that are doing it every day are getting the best results, I imagine they are, but always good to hear everyone else's strategies.
