大家好! 请问: 在中文里 "橄榄球" 这个词有"rugby" 还是"American football"的意思? 还要问你们为什么我们 "踢橄榄球"，不"打橄榄球"? 因为这两个运动我们是用手做的。 还是"踢" 和 "打" 都可以?

That’s because ‘American football’ in British English is actually a kind of sport that is similar to rugby.(Oxford Dictionary says so) But in Chinese we call both of them 橄榄球 and we only say 打橄榄球
