For all those taking lessons on Italki what do you look for in a teacher? What are some things that you like and what are some things you think most tutors can improve on? I have been teaching on Italki for several years but I always want to improve for my Students. If any more experienced teachers have tips please share. 😊

Be authentic. Be who you are. I like talking with people who are genuinely curious about common interests. Not every student is right for every teacher. If it's not a good fit, don't push it. If it is a good fit you can build a relationship. Ultimately, teaching is relationship building.
