Put up or shut up What kind of adult do I want to be? Actually, I not quite sure, but the only thing I can sure is I don't want to be a kind of person like my father. He smoked every day in our home, the smell was so stinky that I needed to hold my breath. I couldn't understand why he kept smoking. I mean, smoking the cigarette will damage one's health and cause bad infections to those who breathe in second-hand smoke. However, even another family member tried to convince him not to smoke, he still did it. Nevertheless, one thing most upset me is he complained about anything, such as his boss didn't treat him well which made him kept changing jobs or our house too small to live. All of these annoyed me cause my mother work hard for the same job for 2 decades, most time of her work needs to deal with a crowd of tricky clients. But she never complained. Yet, I still learned something from my father- put up or shut up.
