I think there is no big difference between Present Perfect and Past Simple but Present Simple easier to use than Present Perfect.Americans prefer to use Past Simple and that's very good.Example I prefer to use Past Simple.

Masha, Sergey gave you very good corrections. The only comments I would make are these: 1. "Have you made any spelling mistakes in your dictation?", is also correct. 2. "Have you booked tickets?", is also correct.
