Why Aren't You Like Your Father !?!?

Being the only engineer in my family, makes me means I always hear this question! Why am I not a pharmacist or a doctor like the rest of my family (especially my great mom and dad?)

Does the son have to be like the father ?!

Notes: "Mom" and "Dad" are capitalized if you use them as names.  (For example, "Hi, Mom!"  or "I don't know when Mom will be home.")  However, they are NOT capitalized if you use them as common nouns-- that is, as a substitution for the more formal words, "mother" and "father."  (For example, "My mom and dad are nice people.")

Your writing is great!  Be careful about punctuation... but your grammar is very good!

I think children are not always like their parents, but usually something very formative changes them if they do not follow their parents' patterns. 

Do your parents speak languages?! :)
