Today I saw a photo of my colleague and can't believe it! Her face is swollen and bruised. No doubt, she got was a victim of domestic violence by from her husband. How can could he do that! She is the woman he ever once loved, she brought made for him a complete home with two kids. I am sad for my colleague and hope she can divorce him as soon as possible. No one should endure this kind of behavior, I hate it! (I totally agree!)

I often see 'ever' appearing where either 'once', or 'sometimes' are correct - what was the Chinese (hanzi) you wanted to express?
