父の日/ Father's Day

Today was a fun day.
今日は楽しい日でした。
Since I don't have a father around, I give my mother presents.
私には父がをもっていませんので(or いないので)、(私は)母にpresentプレゼントをあげあたえます。
She's both my mother and father :)

彼女は私の母であり父でもあります。
I gave her flowers and a card.
私は花とカードを母にあげ与えました(or おくりました)。
At noon, we went to a restaurant.
正午にでは(more natural: お昼に)、私たちはレストランに(or へ)行きました。
My grandfather was there too.
おじいちゃんもそこにいました。
The lunch was delicious~
ランチがおいしかったです〜 (you can also say: お昼ごはんはおいしかったです)
