There is no doubt that more and more museums are becoming famous tourist attractions in many countries, such as Imperial Palace in China. These museums are regarded as a symbol of local culture. Numerous visitors from other parts of the country or even the world come to visit museums to enrich their traveling experience. What is more, only making museums more fun can people enjoy their visiting, especially for young people. Many historical cultures as well as ancient relics are supposed to be inherited by younger generations. As a result, if museums turn to be boring places, there will be fewer teenagers willing to promote their own culture. That is to say, it is wise to let people learn more about their culture and history with pleasure in museums. However, other who claim that museums’ educational sense is much more significant. For one thing, all museums are like schools of various disciplines ranging from history to arts to science, thus they are formal and holy places. And no entertaining element adds seriousness and gravity to them. For another, being more entertaining is likely to distract individuals’ attention. They may lay emphasis on playing or taking photos, totally neglecting the educational meanings. As far as I am concerned, I think an ideal museum should be a mating of entertainment and education. On one hand, children as well as sightseeing groups can easily get interested in their culture and science in a vivid museum. On the other hand, experts and scientists can also enjoy their time.
