Chinese Movies I recommend Hey, guys! If you're learning Chinese, it's better for you to watch some movies and dramas, which I do oftern with my English and Japanese learning. Here I'd like to recommend you some movies and dramas, which I think are really good. Some of them may be popular and already be seen by some of you, others might not be a hit, but won "Golden 'Whatever' Award". Let's start with movies today ! PAINTED SKIN Ⅱ 画皮2 This movie tells a heartbroken story about the sacrifice for love among two ex-lovers and a fox spirit, which oftern shows up in ancient Chinese fable. You can find a brief introduction on Wikipedia. BACK TO 1942 一九四二 This movies is based on a short novel of the same name. It tells about the HUGE damage in Henan Province caused by World War Ⅱ and drought and bureaucracy of government, which led 30 million people's death. And it's true in history. Also, you can find a brief introduction on Wikipedia. LOST IN THAILAND 人在囧途之泰囧 This one is much more easier. :) It's a comedy and hit the record of Chinese box-office with 1.266 billion RMB. It may not be that "in-depth", but it really made ALL Chinese laugh. Wikipedia available as well. I don't know whether you can watch them on Youtobe, but try www.baidu.com (if you know basic Chinese). Click "视频"(Video) ,and paste their Chinese name, then you can watch them. All the actors & actresses in the movies above are well-known in China to almost everyone! (In case you wanna know more about Chinese stars/artists.) Any mistakes or Chinglish expressions in my introduction, feel free to comment and correct. You can also leave your questions below if you wanna know more info. P.S. You can see pictures of those 3 movies below in order.
