Who are the most important influence on young adults, family or friends? In the society, young adults have few experiences and they will be influenced by many people. Some people think that friends are the most important influence on young adults. However, others hold the view that young adults are more affected by their family. In my opinion, the most important influence on them is from their family. For one thing, parents give teenagers financial supporting. Young adults can’t earn money to support them by themselves and the all money they need is from family. As a result, family influence a lot on which life they can experience. I had a neighbour who got a perfect grade in high middle school. He learned English pretty well because he really wanted to study abord to got a better education and broadened his horizons. However, his parents told him their family did not have enough money to afford the expensive expenses. He was so sad but have no ideas about it since he found it was still unable to collect enough money even he played a part-time job. Finally, he had to study in a university at his hometown. In this case, we can know that parents do play a important role in teenagers’ life. In addition, these is a saying that parents are the first teachers for their kids. It means that family do influence young adults on their characters and making decisions. China Youth Association conducted a survey to teenagers in thirteen cities of China. They found over seventy-eight presents of youth took part in this survey admit their characters’ development more affected by their family. They claim that was because they spent most of time with family and they have learned about how to deal with troubles when parents had problems since very young. It is obviously that family affect youth in many respects may it can’t be find easily and young adults often relay on their family. So, nothing can replace the affection from family to teenagers. In a word, there is no doubt that the most influence of young adults are from their parents. Nobody can give them more whatever substance or emotion.
