CAN ANYBODY CORRECT THIS WRITTING TASK FOR THE FCE? THANKS IN ADVANCE. THIS IS THE FCE WRITING TASK I AM ASKED FOR You have received the following letter from your friend. "Thanks for inviting me to stay with you when I visit your country next month. I'm not sure how to get to your apartment from the airport. Could you write back giving me some basic instructions? What would be the best method of transport for me? I'd prefer one that isn't too expensive! Just one other thing - what will the weather be like when I get there? (Just so I'll know what clothes to pack!)" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- AND THIS IS MY REPLY: Dear Susan, First and foremost I´d like to tell you that I´m over the moon with you next visit. It will be a great pleasure for me to put you up in my house when you come to Spain. I think it will be a great opportunity to meet us and improve and practice face to face both my English and your Spanish. My wife and my kids are not only delighted with the idea but also excited. As far as the best method of transport is concerned, either the underground, also known as “Metro” and the urban bus are the cheapest and easiest way to move in Madrid by far. Each ticket will cost you only 1,20 €. Getting to my apartment is a piece of cake since it is located at the downtown of Madrid but I guess you´ll need a few basic instructions to make it even easier: Once you get to the terminal 4 of the airport you have to take the line 5 of the Metro. There are only six Metro stops from the airport to the National Atocha Train Station, so that Atocha will be the last stop. When you arrive there you only have to get out of the station and pretty close to the way out, catch the urban bus nº 10 and stop at Velazquez street, nº 45 that is exactly where I live and the place at which I will be waiting for you with all my family. Finally, concerning weather and clothes issues, next month is July in Spain and summer therefore. I advise you to bring some cool clothing such as t-shirts, shorts or skirts and a pair of sandals or trainers if you mean to do some sightseeing by foot. You shouldn´t forget either to bring a cap or a hat i´m sure you´ll need it. Madrid is said to be one of the most stifling cities in Spain throught summertime. Looking forward to seeing you. Yours forever, Miguel.

over the moon- I have not heard this idiom in USA English

As far as the best method of transport is concerned, either the underground (subway), also known as “Metro” and the urban bus are the cheapest and easiest way to move in Madrid by far. Each ticket will cost you only 1,20 €.

That's actually really well written. There are a few basic errors, but overall it reads very well, good stuff!
