Short paragraph about refugees It is 7 o'clock in the morning in the city of ... , in Syria. A new bomb wakes up Mohamed. The night was short. The bombing have lasted the whole night and Mohamed could not sleep much. He is living alone now, as his siblings and parents have all died in the conflict. " Living " is a big word. He is mainly surviving, trying to imagine that the war will end soon. However, today, he is fed up. He is tired of seeing his people being bombed, in this conflict that is not theirs. A lot of them have told him to escape to Europe, where life is way better, according to them. He has always wanted to stay here, he loves his country, he loves his people. Notwithstanding, he is nearly alone now. The city is everyday more empty and dead. A friend of his has told him of a boat that will cross the Meditteranea next week. The place is very expensive, he has to invest all the money he has been sparing with care for his whole youth. However, maybe it is worth it. He has always been so joyful, so smiling, so happy to live. His life is now tasteless and scary. It is maybe his only chance to smile again. This is the reason why, on this morning of October, Mohamed takes his bag with the few money he has to cross this sea he has never gone through. Frightened, full of a priori, crying. He does not want that much. He just wants to feel safe, to be sure to eat everyday and to have as alarm clock something else than the bombs. He hopes, that in this continent, people will be as good and warm as he has been told. He just wants the right to live. Nothing more. Thanks for the correction!

Short paragraph about refugees

It is 7 o'clock in the morning in the city of ... , in Syria. Mohamed wakes to the sound of yet another bomb. The night was short. The bombings have lasted all night and Mohamed could not sleep much. He is living alone now, as his siblings and parents have all died in the conflict. "Living" is an overstatement. He is mainly surviving, trying to convince himself that the war will end soon.

However, today, he is fed up. He is tired of seeing his people being bombed, in this conflict that is not theirs. A lot of them have told him to escape to Europe, where they say that life is much better. He has always wanted to stay here because he loves his country, he loves his people. Notwithstanding, he is nearly alone now. Every day the city is more empty and dead.

A friend of his has told him of a boat that will cross the Mediterranean next week. The trip is very expensive, so he has to invest all the money he has been saving with care all through his youth. However, maybe it is worth it. He has always been so joyful, so smiling, so happy to live. His life is now bleak and scary. Leaving Syria may be his only chance to smile again.

So, on this morning of October, Mohamed takes his bag with what little money he has left to cross this sea he has never stepped into. Frightened, full of hesitation, crying, he does not want that much from life. He just wants to feel safe, to know where his meals will come from every day, and to have as an alarm clock something other than the bombs. He hopes that in Europe, people will be as good and warm as he has been told. He just wants the right to live. Nothing more.
