I would like to take part in a long-distance marathon? We all notice those people, who are running, while we are walking with our friends or hurrying to work. We glance at them and forget then, but what a strong character all those people have! Am I one of them? No, not really. I don’t run on a daily basis. Sometimes I put on comfortable sweatpants and favourite T-shirt and go to impress random passers at lake near my house at 7 a.m, but I don’t do it regularly, though, I think, that running is the best activity and I have always wanted to take part in some marathon, especially I like the idea of London marathon, though I can’t fully explain why. Here’re my reasons for taking part in a long-distance race. 1. Character strengthening Before the marathon, you need to go through hard process of preparation for it.You have rigorous diet, rest and sleep mode and regular training sessions now. It turns you into self-disciplined, responsible, determined person. And the whole process of running: when you don’t have air anymore to breathe, your lungs can’t let the air in but you run, you see the goal and you run towards it - makes you more enduring and stronger not only physically but also mentally. No excuses, no “I can’t”.Try again.Fail again.Fail better. 2. Inspiration/exhilaration If you don’t know that feeling after a good run, I encourage you to have at least one run in your life to feel that. After you run your distance for today, you become proud of yourself. You did it. You didn’t stop in the middle of the distance, didn’t say “I can’t do that” and your success will inspire you and you will go jogging tomorrow again. After a good run the brain works better and problems are seemed solvable. 3. Realization of inner potential I was speaking a lot about my theory of inner potential of every single person in the world. Making long story short, I think that every person has something inside of him/her, something one should develop in order to feel oneself happy. Everyone wants to live full happy life and, I think, when you have understood what your inner potential is and made everything for its realization you will never regret your life and reproach yourself that you have lived wrongly for all those years. Marathon is a huge experience. Just imagine, 42 kms. After reaching the finish line, you will be another person. You will be the person, who has run marathon, who has come through all obstacles and managed with all difficult problems. You are stronger now. You are better now. You are new now.

I would like to take part in a long-distance marathon?

We all notice those people who are running while we are walking with our friends or hurrying to work. We glance at them and forget then*, but what a strong character all those people have!
Am I one of them? No, not really. I don’t run on a daily basis. Sometimes I put on comfortable sweatpants and a/my favourite T-shirt and go to impress random passers-by at the lake near my house at 7 a.m, but I don’t do it regularly. Though, I think that running is the best activity and I have always wanted to take part in some marathon, especially I like the idea of the London marathon, though I can’t fully explain why. Here are** my reasons for wanting to take part in a long-distance race.
1. Character strengthening
Before the marathon, you need to go through a hard process of preparation (for it). You have a rigorous diet, rest and sleep mode and regular training sessions now. It turns you into a self-disciplined, responsible, determined person. And the whole process of running: when you don’t have air anymore to breathe, your lungs can’t let the air in but you run, you see the goal and you run towards it - makes you more enduring and stronger not only physically but also mentally. No excuses, no “I can’t”s.Try again. Fail again. Fail better.
2. Inhalation/exhalation***
If you don’t know that feeling after a good run, I encourage you to have at least one run in your life to feel it. After you run your distance for today, you become proud of yourself. You did it. You didn’t stop in the middle, didn’t say “I can’t do that” and your success will inspire you and you will go jogging tomorrow again. After a good run the brain works better and problems seem solvable.****
3. Realization of inner potential
I was speaking a lot about my theory of the inner potential of every single person in the world. Making a long story short, I think that every person***** has something inside of him/her, something they should develop in order to feel oneself happy. Everyone wants to live a full and happy life and, I think, when you have understood what your inner potential is and done everything to realise it you will never regret your life and reproach yourself that you have lived wrongly for all those years.
The marathon is a huge experience. Just imagine, 42 kms. After reaching the finish line, you will be another person. You will be the person who has run marathon, who has come through all obstacles and managed with all difficult problems. You are stronger now. You are better now. You are new now.

*and forget them, or, and then forget...?

**the ''''here're'''' contraction does not exist. Good guess, though.

***or, breathing in and out.

****or, soluble

*****or, everyone

(optional)

Very well written!

PS I recommend running in the snow.
