I don't think your heart can be at the right or wrong position. I think it would be better to say "Did you not listen to your heart when you proposed to marry her?". Or "Where was your brain when you proposed to marry her?".

It would not be something that someone would say, it sounds odd. Maybe something like: I don't think your heart was in the right place when you asked her to marry you? I don't think you were in the right frame of mind when you asked her. Did you make the right decision?

Yes, it's good. It implies a deception; somebody heartless, perhaps deceptive, who had ulterior motives when proposing marriage.
