聊天is generally for very casual chit-chat. I'm not sure in what context are u trying to use this sentence. But if u kinda already have a specific subject, like say how to repair a car's engine, I would use the word交流 e.g.很期待和你交流. This word has a hint of professionalism with it but it's not dead formal either.

聊天 or 聊聊天， the latter is more informal than the former.

聊天吧！【面谈】is very official！！
