Ten Meter Tower Ten Meter Tower (Hopptornet=diving tower) is a Swedish short-film by Maximilien van Aertrych and Axel Danielson. These two wanted to show how people, beset by doubts, behave. We all watched movies featuring those doubters, but they were played by actors. The two film directors wanted to show real people with real doubts, real feelings in reality. Therfore they decided to create an environment that needed no explanation: A jump from the ten meter tower. They placed an online ad and get 67 people never jumped from a ten meter tower before, but willing to do that, whilst six cameras and several microphones captured their jump. The participants got 28 € ($) uncommitted expense allowance for their showing up on the 10 meter platform. 70 % of the participants jumped, but some because of the spectators at the pool edge, some because of the filming.
