2 days on the road I traveled to Bulgaria by car 5 years ago with family's of my brother. We passed 1900km during 2 days, visited 4 countries, had accident and many fan during the trip. I'll tell about this in the order. We were planning to visit Bansko for 2 years and each time something went wrong. We prepared route on the map, selected gas stations to buy petrol, define points of interest where we planned to stop and so on. We had a list of service stations with phone numbers for the case if car is broken. Our plans was on hold. Finally, at 2012 we got visas and assign start day for a trip. We tried to finish our route as fast as we can because we had a small children in the car and they couldn't sit on the same place for a long time. We changed drivers every 6 hours and drove non-stop. We stopped on gas stations, customs and in interesting cities only. We visited Romania, Ukraine and Moldova. We ended up in Bansco, Bulgaria after 45 hours on the road! We had road accident when we where driving back to Russia. I was driving at 100 km/h when car's wheel was blowed up. I was trying to hold car on the road but it started spin in 1 second. Finally I've stabilized the car and we drifted away from the road. Damage was less than I expected. We changed the wheel, and continue our trip. We had a luck because there was straightforward road without other cars. There was 500km left to our home so we didn't get any extra service. I've got a very invaluable experience how to drive a car in extreme situation.

I travelled to Bulgaria by car 5 years ago with my brother's family. We covered 1900km during 2 days, visited 4 countries, had  an accident and lots of fun during the trip. I'll tell about it in the order things happened.

We had been planning to visit Bansko for 2 years but each time something went wrong. We prepared the route on the map, selected gas stations to buy petrol, identified points of interest where we planned to stop and so on. We made a list of service stations with phone numbers in case the car broke down. Our plans were put on hold. Finally, in 2012 we got our visas and assigned a start date for the trip.

We tried to finish our route as fast as we could because we had small children in the car and they couldn't sit in the same place for a long time. We changed drivers every 6 hours and drove non-stop. We stopped at gas stations, customs and at interesting cities only. We visited Romania, Ukraine and Moldova. We ended up in Bansco, Bulgaria after 45 hours on the road!

We had a road accident when we were driving back to Russia. I was driving at 100 km/h when a tyre blew on one of the wheels. I was trying to hold car on the road but it started to spin in a second. Finally I stabilized the car and we drifted away from the road. The damage was less than I expected. We changed the wheel, and continued our trip. We were lucky because it was a straightforward road without other cars.
There was 500km left to our home so we didn't get any extra service (do you mean fuel? Or that you didn't stop again?)  I've gained invaluable experience of how to drive a car in an extreme situation.

Good work (and sounds like a great trip)
