Thus, this type of courses is of great significance to the government and the country, and it undoubtedly deserves investment. Therefore, the purpose of this essay is to decide which two types of further education are more entitled to governmental subsidizing. Sports sphere has always been a matter of pride for our nation, as Russian athletes very successfully defend the honour of this country in all types of sports. Therefore, possibly this further education sector merits to be supported by the government most of all. However, there is a continuing dispute about the lack of pragmatic benefits of investing in sports. This said, to the best of my knowledge, the government should increase its financial assistance to the artistic sphere and provide this sector of post-school education with subsidies. Scholars claim that it will be quite reasonable, as artistic work is mostly what constitutes the historical legacy of previous generations and will arguably be the base of the heritage we will pass to our descendants. Summing up, although the education in such impractical fields as arts and sports is often left without extra money investment, it is widely claimed that they to a great extent deserve to be promoted. And artistic sphere needs to be supported in particular, because artists create the cultural image of our nation and epoch, based on which future generations will make assumptions concerning our current life and values.
