**It's better to say get certified rather than certificate myself. 😛

Are you still looking for a TEFL course? This question is 29 days old, maybe you've found the right course already. But in case you haven't, here's my two cents: I used myTEFL's 120 hour program. The course was completely online, there was no practicum or anything like that. It was neither bad nor good, just a TEFL certificate. I am not really a teacher by trade, so I just wanted something that would get my foot in the door. It was about $200 if I recall correctly - this was another selling point for me. :) Other programs are much more expensive. I have also heard that i to i offers a decent online only certificate if you decide to go that route. I like the format of International TEFL Academy's courses, you get to do an in-country practicum for one month. They have options in different countries. It's a bit pricey, but if you have the extra cash, it might be worth it. I also recommend looking on reddit.com/r/TEFL and Dave's ESL cafe to get some suggestions and ideas. Good luck to you!
