I miss my dog so much! His name is Shumba. It means 'lion' in the Shona language. Shumba almost looks like a lion. But he is kind and gentle. I miss taking him on a walk to the hill near our house in Harare - Zimbabwe, walking him around the block, and watching him walk and run around the yard when something has caught his interest. He's such a fascinating creature. I look forward to seeing him again when I can travel back home. This is one of the challenging things about living abroad. You miss all the people and things that matter the most. Till then, I will hold on to my memories of him and try to enjoy my life in Tokyo - Japan!
