Today I made cheese powder chips for the first time. I had even never thought about making it because I thought it would be difficult and I would fail wasting time. My daugher insisted me to make it for her and I just tried. It was super crunchy to my surprise and it meant I was sucessful. I thought it would too soft and too oily at first but it was not. So you will never know if you don't try.

Today, for the first time, I made cheese powder chips. I had never before given so much as a thought to attempting them because I had supposed them to be difficult and a waste of time. But my daughter begged for them, so I yielded and gave it a go. To my surprise, they were super crunchy, a sign of success! They were not, as I had feared, soft or oily. It just goes to show that you can never know if you don't try.
Try to place adverbial phrases ("for the first time", "to my surprise", "at first") closer to the verbs they modify.
"Begging" is normally not a pleasant word. However, in this context it is sweet.
