Forget about "commence"... It's hardly ever used - and only in written formal/ English. Just say: "I start work tomorrow." or: "I start my new job tomorrow." (if the other person doesn't know that it's a new job)...

Commencing implied that you already started and your just continuing or " commencing " a better way is to say im starting my new job tomorrow
