Whenever I come across a question along the lines of design I think of the Olympic Games. I don't know who is in charge of such a task, let alone if it's an individual job or if there's a whole team of designers racking their brains, the latter being the most logical for me, but I always feel dumbfounded about how impressive yet simple their results are. There was a design I saw some time ago for the 2024 games that will be held in Paris. I guess it might have been a rough draft, because I recall seeing a different one being used for the actual games. Whoever did it, they managed to combine the numbers of the year so it would look like the Eiffel tower (very cliché, but it's the best way for us to know that it's Paris with a simple glimpse).
