It was sunny today. After dinner, Mom and Dad took MeeMaw to church without me since I hadn’t finished my homework. Staying home alone wasn’t so bad, though — I actually wrapped up my homework in an hour and spent the rest of the evening watching YouTube. If Dad had been home, he probably would’ve made me do extra practice drills instead. The only downside? Mom was definitely sipping on that slushy she loves, and I missed out.
