Cropped is a term used when making a photo smaller. You might also hear that a person has been "cropped out" of said picture, meaning they are no longer visible in said picture. I.e A photo with two people present. You crop it, so that only you are visible. One person has been cropped out of the picture. The picture has been cropped.
