A goal is something you perform different tasks for to eventually reach. For example your goal is to buy a new car, so you work until you get enough money to achieve it. Purpose is basically: for what reason are you performing a task? Example: A teacher's purpose for teaching is to help students become educated. Target is similar to goal, and aim ties into it: aim is what direction you are going in to reach your target. Your target is the finish line, so you aim straight forward to reach that target.
