Normalerweise muss man aufpassen, welches Wort "gezählt" wird. Also ob etwas Plural oder Singular ist.
"200 g Käse kosten 3,50 EUR."
(Es ist nicht eine Einheit (1 g), sondern es sind 200 Einheiten. Also Plural.)
"200 g Käse kostet 3,50 EUR."
(Es ist ein Stück Käse. Ein Teil des Käses. Von diesem Käse. Also Singular.)
In diesem Fall ist beides richtig. Es kostet immer 3,50 EUR...

Ich würde auch sagen KOSTEN ist grammatikalisch richtig.

Umgangssprachlich sagt man beides. Der Plural ("kosten") scheint mir aber besser zu sein.
