"Me gusta leer" En español no se utiliza ninguna partícula con los verbos en infinitivo. Así que siempre debes decir: "Me gusta reir", "Me gusta ver la televisión", "Me gusta ir al cine", etc...

For some reason in spanish we prefer to say "reading delights me"(me gusta leer) instead of "I like reading"(yo gusto de leer). As Leticia has pointed, we say "Me gusta leer" or "Me gusta la lectura".

Me gusta leer.( present time) Me gustó el libro. ( past time)

Me gustA hacer una cosa. No necessitas usar 'a' aqui. "Me gusta leer".
