How much does peanut costs in your country?
Peanut is one of my favourite food. But there is a bad news that it is price makeup. Originally, it's costed 5.5RMB, about 0.85 USD. But now it costs 12.8RMB=2USD. But my salary is kept as last year. What's the matter? What a unfortunately I am! Then I have a question that what's peanut's price in the other country? Sorry, I mean the price in a kg.I've made a mistake that usually we use 0.5 KG as the standard. I mean the peanut's price is 2USD per 0.5 KG now.

The current price of $3.15 for Coles Smart Buy Nuts Peanuts Salted 500g was found at Coles on Thursday 19 August, 2010

A 1 kg bag though costs only $5.18.

When I was in Beijing I used to eat lots of peanuts and raisins. Somebody was selling them just across from where I was living. They were good.

Eliot's correct. Also the state of Queensland produces over 95% of Australia's peanut crop (only 0.2% of world's production). New South Wales, Western Australia and Northern Territory are the only other peanut producing states but have only small areas for peanuts.
